Orthodontic Intervention
Within the scope of pediatric dentistry is the early recognition and intervention of developmental, skeletal and dental orthodontic problems.
These problems, whether they are attributed to genetics or habits, may worsen with age. Interceptive treatment may produce aesthetic results, lessen the need for treatment later and prevent subsequent problems of the temporomandibular joint.
Not all orthodontic problems require early intervention. Let us work with you to determine the appropriate timing of treatment for your child.
